Ondanks de conflicten in Syri\u00eb wordt de traditie van de Aleppo-zeep voortgezet. De zeepmakers uit de op \u00e9\u00e9n na grootste stad van het land hebben hun toevlucht gezocht in Turkije en Parijs om de <strong>de oudste zeep ter wereld<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>De zeep uit Aleppo: een eeuwenoud cultureel erfgoed<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;Van <strong>streekproducten uit het Middellandse Zeegebied<\/strong>, heeft de Aleppo-zeep een revolutie teweeggebracht in de lichaamsverzorging in wat in de oudheid de bakermat van de mensheid was. Het chemische proces van de<strong> koude verzeping<\/strong> werd uitgevonden. Deze reactie, die plaatsvindt op basis van vetten (etherische oli\u00ebn) en soda, ligt ten grondslag aan de vorming van zeep en glycerine.
